Goals and Wish List
Foundation members have compiled a "Wish List" of many things that would be attractive addtions for park visitors and the residents of our local community. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe and attractive park to be used for educational and recreational activities as well as entertainment and relaxation. With your donations and support there is no dream that cannot become a reality for our park.
WISH LIST
- Pave New Parking Lot
- Grill, Electricity and Restrooms for new picnic shelter
- Playground for the second picnic area
- Trail Development through the park (5 miles) with special features such as designated handicap accessible areas, arboretum, fitness trail and self guided nature tour
- Swimming Pool with Water Slide
- Ampitheatre/Nature Center
- New Larger Modern Camping Area
- Picnic Shelter to seat 120
- Pave All Cabin Parking Lots and Driveways
- Paved Basketball Court
- Drainage for Volleyball Court
- Numerous small items needed for improvement of park and lodge
- Special programs to increase park usage during the months of November and December
